Illegal immigrants are leered as a problem by many Americans. They are believed to be taking jobs,homes, bringing crime, etc. However, what most don’t know is that they come escaping the corruption of the people and the government back in their home country. Most Illegal immigrants come to America for a better life. They don’t want to live the same life they did in their home country. Their population has gradually increased over time since the 1800’s. Each year about 2.5 million Illegal immigrants attempt to cross the border, but not all of them make it through. Illegal immigrants can come from all parts of the world, but most immigrants come from spanish speaking countries located in South and Central America. Less than 40% didn t believe this was an issue, others w eren t sure about it.The common methods of traveling are by land, sea, and air (airplane). Every method, even the easiest one (airplane), contains an unlawful doing, for example coming by air needs FAKE identification. Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico and other countries, come to America escaping the high amount of crimes and poverty, like homicide, gang activity, robbery, rape, homelessness, lack of jobs, corruption of the government, etc. Homicide is common in central american countries. El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras have the highest amount of homicides, each day about 43 to 45 people die from these occurrences. According to studies done by the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, more than half of the children of Central America cross the border because of safety concerns back home. Most of the children s home countries are full of gang violence, drug dealing. Research done by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection state that Central American children prefer to risk their liv es in the border than back in their home countries. Although most of them come from dangerous countries doesn’t mean all of them are the same. Most of these countries don’t have available jobs, and if they do, their pay doesn’t prevail for a whole week.

It is about how mother society beats its children into submission. It is a straight out attack on comformity (the Sickness). This song is one of my favorite songs and it is easy to see why. Another fun fact is getting Down With The Sickness means accepting people for who they are so we can all function better. Most people will know this song because of the Oh, ah, ah, ah, ah at the start of the track. That part of the song is what took Disturbed to be one of the most famous rock/metal bands of all time. The greatest tragedy of all these is Briony breaking Lola's silence thus sending Robbie to jail. Robbie and Cecilia's relationship is doomed from the beginning and they never get the chance to experience their love. Briony breaks Lola's silence and accuses Robbie of being the culprit of Lola's rape. Once the silence has been broken, Briony's lies cannot be withdrawn and Briony's words have an effect on the rest of Robbie's life. Briony tries to make amends in her fictionalised section of the novel by going to the solicitor and retracting her official statement. But as this is the fictionalised section of the novel, the retracting and clearing of Robbie's name never takes place. The vase plays a large role in the novel. It is the dispute over the vase that causes Robbie and Cecilia to realise how they feel about each other. During this dispute, the vase is actually broken. The vase is artificially fixed thus the vase is never mended properly. This is similar to Robbie and Cecilia's relationship. Briony's lies and Lola and Paul's silence cause Robbie and Cecilia's relationship to break and because of the war, it does not get the chance to mend. The vase is totally destroyed by the maid later in the novel and one could see this as Robbie and Cecilia's relationship being unfixable which is true because they die before they can continue with their relationship. Cecilia breaks all ties with her family after Robbie is arrested and accused of Lola's rape. Cecilia is certain that Robbie is innocent and that Danny Hardman is the culprit. Cecilia never mends her relationship with her family and never forgives Briony for the lies she tells. Lola's body is broken when Paul Marshall rapes her. Best Summer Memory of My Childhood

When I was 11 years old, I attended a Unitarian church camp for a summer vacation with my family. It was a pleasant area, with the Puget Sound not far away, grass fields, many old-style wooden buildings, an expansive forest, and an elongated pond between the road and the camp. Deer and other wildlife regularly visited the grounds. It was an ideal place to forget your worries and the routine of common life. As an 11-year-old boy, it was a place for me to meet my friends, and maybe fall in love with a girl. However, this summer camp was more spiritual than others—not because of a religious message, but because I had an awakening at the camp that year. I had been going to this summer retreat almost every year since I was very young. But somehow, this year was different. It seemed my mind and soul was ripe for a transformation. I recorded my first poem in my 11th year, and I seemed more introspective than usual. I was less interested in playing and joking around with my friends. I was searching for answers to deep questions about life and God. While walking down a path next to a grass field leading to the camp’s cafeteria, suddenly my vision changed. The grass was shining, the texture of the bark of trees was lucid, and each detail around me seemed like it was the first time I was seeing. In a sense, it was a feeling of rebirth. In church, there is talk of baptism, which is more of a ritual than anything else, in my opinion. The real baptism is an inner transformation. But back to the experience, this natural baptism came spontaneously. No effort was put into it. It was like a light was switched on in my consciousness, and I saw everything as new again. This sight was accompanied by a fresh sense of peace—a mental silence that I had not experienced before. Also, joy was coursing through my being at the exhilaration of such a happening. From that moment, the world around me and within me was never the same. The only problem was that I was too young to fully grasp what had happened. In fact, I thought I was some sort of prophet. Seeing a tarot card reader only made the issue worse. Through the reading, I thought I was â€Å"the victory of the people,† and someone no one else was like. However, there were many other people who had the same experience—I just did not know this at that tender age. Later in life, I learned there are many people just like me, and that I was not all that special. What I learned from this experience is that baptism, or spiritual rebirth, is a spontaneous happening, and not done only from the hand of a priest. Also, I learned about getting a spiritual ego, where you think you are important based on spiritual experiences. My natural baptism and my knowledge of spiritual ego has allowed me to gain much in life: more creativity, inner peace, and how to be humble in the face of achievements.
